I am writing blog nearly after 6 months. And, It’s young brigade from IPL Season 8 whose performances encouraged me to get back to blogging again. There were many fabulous and destructing performances during the Season by superstar players like Gayle, Warner, Rahane, McCullum, Nehra, Bravo. But This time it was the Young brigade which caught my eyes to the most. They won matches almost single handedly for their teams.
First on the list is Shreyas Iyer who is consistently leading the way for Delhi Daredevils. He is the leading run-getter for Delhi Daredevils so far, Shreyas Iyer’s confidence and his ability to score at a quick pace will serve him well in future.
Sanju Samson is second on list. He is playing IPL from last 3 seasons, but this is the time to move on for him as MS Dhoni has announced retirement from Test Cricket. He may the choice for selectors as Wicket-Keeper Batsman in Test Cricket.
Deepak Hooda, slow left arm bowler, but he expressed himself more in the last overs stroke play with tremendous ability to hit sixes with ease. He played the major role in winning first two matches for Rajasthan Royals.
Sarfaraz Khan, oh man ! He is almost 3 and half years younger than me. He is hitting Australian bowler for boundaries. He is player to watch out in future.
I was about to finish the list, but there came another stroke-play from the Paltan of Mumbai Indians, He is Hardik Pandya. He smashed 3 sixes in 19th over to take his team home with 3 balls to spare against Chennai Superkings.
